A perfect vantage point for watching planes taxi, land and take-off, the viewing area is nestled at a corner of the airport’s perimeter along University Parkway. An aluminum canopy with a monumental concrete bench below is proposed for the area along with a vinyl covered, shelving railing to display airport information and history. Amenities will include bottle-filling station, bike rack and ample parking. Speakers, powered by PV panels above, elevate the area to one-of-a-kind experience by broadcasting the communication between the pilots and air-traffic controllers.
